Gift set image for holiday listings: the Editorial Product Set Format
Turn a packshot of a three-item gift set into a clean editorial image for holiday listings and ads. What sume-editorial-product-set returns and its limits.

A holiday gift set sells as a set, so the hero image has to show all of it. sume-editorial-product-set is a catalog Format whose output is an image, not a video. Its shipped example takes a packshot of a coordinated three-step skincare collection and asks for a graphic arrangement with accurate labels, generated with ChatGPT Image 2 at 9:16. Call it at POST /v1/formats/sume/sume-editorial-product-set/runs.
What does it return?
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Output kind | image (check io.output_kind with GET /v1/formats/sume/sume-editorial-product-set) |
| Input | A packshot of the whole set as an attachment, plus a short brief |
| Image model in the example | ChatGPT Image 2 |
| Ratio in the example | 9:16 |
| Run | POST /v1/formats/sume/sume-editorial-product-set/runs, key with formats:write |
How do I run it for a catalog of sets?
Each gift set is one item. Queue them as a bulk run: up to 100 items, with 1 to 16 running at once. The brief can repeat across items, and each item carries its own packshot attachment. Poll the queue and check counts.failed when it reports completed.

]
}'How do I check labels before publishing?
Open the image next to the packshot and read every label aloud. Generated images can change a letter or merge two products. Marketplaces also have their own image rules, so check the listing guidelines for the channel before you upload; this post does not state any marketplace's image requirements.
How do I turn the still into a video?
If a channel wants motion, the image can be the first frame of a clip. Send the still to the video router as image_url with a short prompt such as a slow push-in, and keep the clip to a few seconds. Native-audio models add sound you may not want on a product loop, so check the model's capabilities in GET /v1/video-router/models first.
This two-step route costs generation twice, but it keeps the arrangement you approved in the image, which is the part a gift-set buyer looks at.
What are the limits?
- The output is a 9:16 still in the example, which suits stories and short-video covers more than a square marketplace gallery slot. Re-brief for another ratio and check the result.
- The Format does not know the real contents of your set unless the packshot shows them.
- Image Formats cost generation spend too; keep
generation_spend_cap_usdlow on a test batch. - The queue has no webhook; set
communication.webhook_urlper item or poll the queue.
