Shortest Omni Flash clip is 3 seconds: stingers and loops

Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 outputs 3 to 10 seconds, shorter than Sora's 4 second minimum. Uses for 3 second stingers, and costs at 720p and 360p on Sume.

Gemini Omni Flash outputs clips from 3 to 10 seconds, so a 3 second stinger is a single request, while Sora's guide lists 4 seconds as its shortest length. A 3 second 720p clip costs 3 x $0.10 = $0.30 at Google's list price and 3 x $0.125 = $0.375 on Sume at list x 1.25.

Where 3 seconds is enough

Brand stingers, a product reveal, a reaction cut-in, a transition shot between two longer clips, a loopable background for a text card. All fit in 3 seconds, and the short length makes instruction-following easier, as the Sora guide notes for short clips.

Make it loop

The model does not document a loop mode. For a loop, ask for a static camera, a repeating motion and matching first and last frames: send image_url and end_image_url as the same image. Test that the seam is not visible before you rely on it.

Request

Use 360p to check the idea.
