Sendspark Dynamic Video Minutes: cost per prospect vs Sume avatar
Sendspark Solo lists 100 Dynamic Video Minutes for $49. Work out the effective rate on each plan and compare it with a 20-second Sume avatar clip per prospect.
Sendspark's four plans work out to $0.49, $0.396, $0.299 and $0.233 per included Dynamic Video Minute, from Solo ($49 for 100) to Business ($699 for 3,000). A 20-second Sume avatar clip costs $3.68 on Standard, so the two are not like for like: Sendspark personalizes a video you recorded, while Sume generates a presenter who speaks a script you wrote for each prospect.
Figures are from Sendspark's pricing page and Sume's avatar video guide, read on 2026-10-04. The page does not define how a Dynamic Video Minute is counted, so I only divide price by the listed allowance and do not claim what a minute measures.
Sendspark plans as listed
Every plan lists dynamic backgrounds, AI voice cloning and personalized thumbnails. The page describes the effect as each prospect hearing their name in your voice and seeing their website as a dynamic background.
| Plan | Price per month | Videos | Dynamic Video Minutes | Price per included minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $49 | 5,000 | 100 | $0.49 |
| Growth | $99 | 20,000 | 250 | $0.396 |
| Team | $299 | 100,000 | 1,000 | $0.299 |
| Business | $699 | Unlimited | 3,000 | $0.233 |
Extra minutes
The page lists extra Dynamic Video Minutes from $0.39 on Solo down to $0.19 on Business. Those overage rates sit close to the effective per-minute price of each plan, which suggests the plan price is mostly a prepaid block.
A Sume clip per prospect
On Sume each prospect gets a job. At 20 seconds each, no product image, the cost per prospect and for a 100-prospect campaign is:
| Tier | Per prospect | 100 prospects | 1,000 prospects |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $3.68 | $368.00 | $3680.00 |
| Plus | $4.90 | $490.00 | $4900.00 |
| Max | $11.00 | $1100.00 | $11000.00 |
Which one to pick for outreach
If a real person records one message and you want the name, the voice and the background of the page to change for each recipient, a personalization tool is built for that. The face and the words are yours.
If you want a different spoken script for each recipient with no recording session, a generated presenter is the only way to vary the words as well as the name. That is where Sume's per-job model applies: build the script in code, submit one job per prospect with its own Idempotency-Key, and read the video URL from the job result. Keep each script inside the 4 to 60 second window; a longer pitch is a different channel.
Disclose the generated presenter
A cold message that hides a synthetic presenter costs trust faster than it saves effort. Say in the first line of the script or in the email text that the presenter is AI-generated, and keep the real sender's name on the message. That is a practice, not a Sume feature: the API does not add a label for you.
