Seedance 2.5 price per frame: about 2.4 cents at 720p on Sume
A Seedance 2.5 frame costs about 1.1 cents at 480p, 2.4 at 720p and 5.9 at 1080p on Sume. Token math, the 4 s floor, and what a retake of a few frames costs.

On Sume, one frame of Seedance 2.5 video costs about 1119.5 cents at 480p, 2407.5 cents at 720p and 5923.1 cents at 1080p (16:9, July-launch model, billed per video token). The number matters because buyers compare clips by the second, but the model is billed by tokens, and a frame is the unit that makes the token math easy to see.
Seedance 2.5 reportedly launched on July 31 with roughly 30-second native clips in one pass, as tracked by Magic Hour (secondary source, read 2026-10-07). Sume lists it as the seedance-2.5 id with 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p and 1080p, per the Video Router docs (read 2026-10-07).
How a frame turns into dollars
Sume's estimator prices a clip as width x height x seconds x 24 / 1024 video tokens. The 24 is the estimator's frame-rate constant in @sume-com/provider-pricing; treat it as the billing assumption, not a promise about the frame rate of the file you download. The provider list rate is $0.0214 per 1,000 tokens (and $0.0234 at 1080p), and Sume bills list x 1.25.
| Resolution (16:9) | Pixels per frame | Tokens per frame | Billable per frame | Billable per second (24 frames) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 480p | 864x496 | 418.5 | $11.1949 | $268.677 |
| 720p | 1280x720 | 900.0 | $24.0750 | $577.800 |
| 1080p | 1920x1080 | 2,025.0 | $59.2312 | $1421.550 |
Why frames help when you decide to retake
A whole clip rounds up to the cent after the margin, so 10 seconds at 720p is $5.78, not 240 frames x a rounded frame price. At the 4-second minimum (96 frames) the clip is $1.08 at 480p, $2.32 at 720p and $5.69 at 1080p.
The per-frame view is useful for one decision: whether to regenerate. A 30-second 720p clip is 720 frames and costs $17.34. If three seconds of it are wrong, you cannot pay for only those 72 frames. Seedance 2.5 on Sume has no seed and no partial regenerate, so a fix is a new job at the full length you choose, with a 4-second minimum. The cheaper repair is a separate 4-second job at $2.32 that you cut in on a timeline.

Prices here are from the Sume repo on 2026-10-07 and follow GET /v1/videos/models, which returns pricing_skus per 1,000 video tokens for each id. Provider list prices can change; the catalog call is the source to trust before a bulk run. Audio does not add a line: Seedance 2.5 audio is optional and the estimate has no audio term.
