Seedance 2.5: nine prices for 10, 20 and 30 second clips
Seedance 2.5 on Sume at 10, 20 and 30 s across 480p, 720p and 1080p: from $2.69 to $42.65 per clip, with the arithmetic behind the spread.

Seedance 2.5 on Sume ranges from $2.69 (10 s, 480p) to $42.65 (30 s, 1080p) per clip, in 16:9 or 9:16 (as of 2026-10-08). The nine combinations of 10, 20 and 30 seconds with 480p, 720p and 1080p are in the table.
The nine prices
Each cell is one job. Sume bills the provider list for the clip, multiplies by 1.25 and rounds up to a cent.
| Duration | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 s | $2.69 | $5.78 | $14.22 |
| 20 s | $5.38 | $11.56 | $28.44 |
| 30 s | $8.07 | $17.34 | $42.65 |
Reading the table
Down a column the price grows almost in proportion to duration. At 720p, 10 s is 578 cents, 20 s is 1156 cents and 30 s is 1734 cents: 578 x 2 = 1156 and 578 x 3 = 1734 exactly. At 1080p 10 s is 1422, and 1422 x 3 = 4266, one cent above the 4265 charged for 30 s, because each job rounds on its own.
Across a row the multipliers are fixed: 720p costs about 2.15 times 480p and 1080p about 2.46 times 720p. A 20 s clip at 1080p ($28.44) costs more than a 30 s clip at 720p ($17.34), so choose resolution before duration when the budget is tight.
Choosing a cell
If the story needs one continuous shot longer than 15 seconds, Seedance 2.5 (or Wan 3.0) is the only choice in the Sume catalog. If it can be cut into shorter shots, the 15 s limit of Seedance 2.0, Fast and Mini opens up cheaper options; see the comparison posts linked below.
Audio is part of the Seedance 2.5 capability set in the catalog, so none of the prices above add a separate sound line.
Per-second view
Dividing the 30 s column by 30 gives 26.9 cents per second at 480p, 57.8 at 720p and 142.2 at 1080p. The same division on 10 s gives 26.9, 57.8 and 142.2 again, which confirms that Sume prices Seedance 2.5 close to linearly in duration.
Short clips are not much cheaper per second: a 4 s clip at 720p is $2.32, or 58 cents per second. The minimum duration is 4 s, so there is no 2 s or 3 s option on this model; Wan 3.0 starts at 2 s.
For planning, use whole-job prices rather than rates, since the rounding is per job.
Check the number yourself
To confirm the figure behind this post, read the seedance-2.5 entry from GET /v1/video-router/models and check that 20 s and 720p are inside its duration_seconds and resolutions. The grid price for that cell is 1156 cents ($11.56). It is the provider list price times 1.25, rounded up to the next cent for the job, as of 2026-10-08.
Use an Idempotency-Key on every create call so a retry cannot start a second paid job, then poll the job until it is complete and download the file from the result. Media inputs for Timeline or for references must be hosted files, so import them first.
None of the prices here say anything about picture quality, motion or how well a model follows a prompt. Prices can change when a provider changes its list, which is why every table carries a date. Re-read the catalog before you commit a large batch, and run one test job at the exact setting you plan to use.
