Which one can make a silent clip?

On Sume, only Seedance 2.0. Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 always produces native synced audio, and a request with generate_audio: false is rejected. If you plan to lay your own voiceover or music over the clip, Seedance lets you skip the generated track; with Omni Flash you replace or mute it afterwards. Seedance also takes audio references, which Omni Flash does not.

Which one can edit a video I already have?

Gemini Omni Flash 1.1. Send video_url and a prompt that describes the change to POST /v1/video-router/generate (Video Router). Seedance 2.0 has no edit mode on Sume. Edit a video with a prompt covers the request and its limits.

Which one costs less for a 10-second clip?

At 720p and 1080p, the two resolutions both offer, Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 reserves less for a 10-second 16:9 clip. Seedance counts video tokens (width × height × seconds × 24 fps ÷ 1,024), so its price grows with the frame size; Omni Flash charges a flat rate per second for each resolution. Amounts below are reserved on submit at the provider's list price × 1.25, plus a 5.5% agent fee by default.

Computed from the pricing code behind API pricing (provider list × 1.25, per Video generation), read 2026-09-28. 16:9, 10 seconds.
