Seedance 2.0 mini, fast, standard vs 2.5: price of a 15-second clip

On Sume a 15-second 720p Seedance clip sells for $2.835 on 2.0 mini, $4.536 on 2.0 fast, $5.67 on 2.0 standard and $8.667 on 2.5, all before the 5.5% platform fee. The 2.0 family tops out at 15 seconds, so it fits episode-length clips; 2.5 goes to 30. The price gap comes from the per-token rate, not from different token counts.

Same tokens, different rate

Seedance bills by video tokens: width x height x seconds x 24 / 1024. At 720p (1280 x 720) a 15-second clip is 324,000 tokens on every Seedance model. Sume's list rates in the repo are per 1,000 tokens; the sell price multiplies the list cost by 1.25 and rounds up. fal's Seedance 2.5 page (read 2026-10-07) shows the same token formula and $0.0214 per 1,000 tokens for 2.5 at 720p.

The 720p ladder

Each row multiplies the same token count by the model's list rate, then by 1.25. Tokens for the 5-second and 10-second columns scale linearly.

Choosing between them

Standard 2.0 costs 2.0x mini and 1.25x fast. Seedance 2.5 is about 1.53x standard 2.0 at 720p. If you need a clip over 15 seconds, 2.5 is the only Seedance option here. If you are testing prompts, mini is the cheapest way to see a result; the final render can move to a dearer model. Check the model docs for the current id and options.

Adding the fee

For the 15-second 2.0 mini clip, fee = floor(2,835,000 x 550 / 10,000) = 155925 micro-dollars, so the hold is $2.990925. The same step applies to every row.
