Runway MCP Kling models need a paid plan: Sume Kling 3 per-clip price
Runway lists its four Kling MCP models for paid plans. Sume bills Kling 3 per second from a wallet; here are the 5, 10 and 15 second clip prices from the code.

Runway's changelog says its four Kling models on Runway MCP are available on paid plans, so a free account cannot call them there. On Sume, Kling 3 is billed per second from a credit balance. kling-3 costs $0.14 per second with audio off and $0.21 per second with audio on, so a 5-second clip is $0.70 or $1.05 and a 15-second clip is $2.10 or $3.15.
The Runway fact is from the Runway changelog, read on 2026-10-02. The Sume prices are the provider list prices in the catalog code ($0.112 and $0.168 per second) times the house multiplier of 1.25 described in the Video Router docs. Top-ups and balance live on the billing page.
What does a Kling 3 clip cost on Sume?
The table is duration times the per-second rate. Prices can change, so read the live catalog before you budget.
| Clip length | Audio off ($0.14/s) | Audio on ($0.21/s) |
|---|---|---|
| 4 s | $0.56 | $0.84 |
| 5 s | $0.70 | $1.05 |
| 10 s | $1.40 | $2.10 |
| 15 s | $2.10 | $3.15 |
Is a plan gate the same as a price?
No. Runway's changelog names the plan requirement, but the page I read lists no per-clip price for these four models, so I do not compare cost. The only comparable fact is the shape of access: a plan that unlocks the model, versus a balance that you spend per second. Which one costs you less depends on how many clips you make a month and on what the plan already includes for you.
How do you start on Sume without a subscription decision?
Create an API key, add credits on the billing page, and send POST /v1/videos with model: "kling-3". Poll the job and download the file from the content URL. At the rates above, a few dollars of balance covers a handful of test clips.
What does Sume not offer here?
The Runway names Kling O3 4K and Kling O3 Standard have no match in Sume's catalog, and kling-3 tops out at 1080p. If you need those exact models, the Runway server is where Runway lists them. If you need Kling 3.0 Motion Control, Sume has its own route at /v1/kling/3.0/motion-control with output length that follows your driving video.
