Re-roll cost by AI video job size: 10 s Omni vs 26 s Wan

One bad take costs a whole job again. At 720p that is $1.25 for a 10 s Omni clip, $3.25 for a 26 s Wan clip and $15.02 for a 26 s Seedance 2.5 clip.

When you cut a long Reel into jobs, the job size sets how much a bad take costs. Re-running a job pays for the whole job again at the same per-second rate. Small jobs cost less to redo but there are more of them to review.

One re-roll by model

Rates are the Sume per-second prices at 720p, list price times 1.25. The 181-second plan from the even-split planner gives the job lengths.

What a failure rate does to the total

If one take in four fails, a Wan plan of seven 26-second jobs expects about 1.75 re-rolls, roughly $5.69 on top of $22.63. The same rate on seedance-2.5 adds about $26 to $104.58. Treat the one-in-four as an illustration, not a measured failure rate.

Use job size as a lever

Pick the model for the cost of a miss, not just the cost of a hit. A premium model can justify a shorter job for a scene you need to get right, while a cheaper model can take the long background passages.
