Qwen Image 2.1 Turbo price: $0.014133 outside Singapore, $0.016 there
Alibaba's qwen-image-2.1-turbo costs $0.016 an image in Singapore, $0.014133 elsewhere. 10,000 images: $141.33 or $160, against $250 on Sume's Qwen row.

Alibaba Cloud Model Studio prices qwen-image-2.1-turbo at $0.016 per image in Singapore and $0.014133 per image in Beijing, US (Virginia), Germany (Frankfurt), Japan (Tokyo) and Hong Kong. At 10,000 images that is $160.00 in Singapore and $141.33 elsewhere. Sume does not list Qwen Image 2.1 Turbo; its qwen/qwen-image row bills $0.025, so the same 10,000 images cost $250.00 there. Alibaba figures were read on 2026-10-13.
The headline $0.016 you may have seen is the Singapore price only. The rest of the list is lower by $0.001867 per image.
What is the Turbo price in each region?
Both the Turbo page and the pricing page give the same numbers, billed per image.
| Region | Per image | 1,000 images | 10,000 images |
|---|---|---|---|
| Singapore | $0.016 | $16.00 | $160.00 |
| Beijing, Virginia, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Hong Kong | $0.014133 | $14.13 | $141.33 |
How does Turbo compare with Pro?
On the same pages, qwen-image-2.1-pro is $0.04 in Singapore and $0.035333 elsewhere. That makes Pro exactly 2.5 times the Turbo price in every region listed. Turbo also has a higher request limit: 120 requests per minute against 20 for Pro. The Pro post has the Pro table.
How much does a monthly budget buy?
At a $50 monthly image budget, the arithmetic is $50 divided by the per-image price, rounded down. Outside Singapore that is 3,537 Turbo images; in Singapore it is 3,125; on Sume's qwen/qwen-image row at $0.025 it is 2,000. The same $50 buys 1,415 Pro images outside Singapore or 1,250 in Singapore. These counts ignore failed requests, retries and any free quota, which the pages do not state consistently, so treat them as ceilings.
What does the same batch cost on Sume?
Sume bills the list rate times 1.25. The qwen/qwen-image row has a $0.02 list rate, so it bills $0.025 an image. That is a different model from 2.1 Turbo, so compare price only.
| Option | Per image | 10,000 images | Gap to Alibaba non-Singapore |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alibaba Turbo, non-Singapore | $0.014133 | $141.33 | none |
| Alibaba Turbo, Singapore | $0.016 | $160.00 | +$18.67 |
| Sume qwen/qwen-image | $0.025 | $250.00 | +$108.67 |
What would you give up by going direct, and what by staying?
Direct is cheaper per image for this model, and it is the only way to call 2.1 Turbo today. Sume's side is narrower: one POST /v1/images for many models, Sume-hosted result URLs, and all-or-nothing credits, so a failed or cancelled generation uses none. Sume's image docs also say seed is not served, so a request that sends one returns 400 unsupported_parameter. If you need the exact Turbo model, call Alibaba; if you only need a cheap Qwen-family draft with a shared balance, use the Sume row and run the Sume catalog check first.
