A podcast with an 8-city live tour can prepare the whole announcement for $1.58 on Sume: eight posters with exact city and date text, two Ideogram 4.5 attempts each ($1.20), plus one captioned teaser clip composed under each poster ($0.38) (read 2026-10-03). Only the poster changes between cities, so the expensive caption job runs once.

Tour tickets make holiday gifts, and Black Friday on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30 are when many shows run a ticket sale. Have the posters and teaser ready by mid-November so the announcement is not rushed.

One teaser, eight composes

Trim a 30-second moment from an episode ($0.02) and burn captions once ($0.20). The caption job needs speech, which a podcast clip has. Then, for each city, compose a vertical shot: operation set to stack, the city poster as the image on top, and the captioned teaser as the video below, for $0.02 each. Compose holds the still for the length of the clip, so each output is 30 seconds with the same teaser and a different city.

Posters: Ideogram 4.5 at medium quality is $0.075 per image. Put exactly the city, the venue and the date in quotes, and nothing else, so there is little to misspell. Eight cities with two attempts each is 16 images. Re-check every date against the venue's contract, because a wrong date on 8 posters costs far more than the images.

When a date moves

A rescheduled show means one new poster ($0.075 to $0.15) and one new compose ($0.02), not a new teaser. That is the advantage of keeping the captioned clip separate from the poster. Do not spend the $0.20 again.

Tell listeners about ticket-resale rules and refunds in the description of each post, not in the pixels. And if the clip includes a guest or a live audience, confirm they are fine with promotional use. The cheaper and quicker teaser trim post covers the clip itself.

Budget and checks before you start

Build a one-line template for every poster, such as city, venue, date and a single call to action. Eight cities times four lines gives you a quick proofreading table to check against the venue contracts. A second person should read the dates aloud from the contract while you check each poster.

Release the posters in waves: tickets on sale first, then a reminder two weeks before each show. A reminder is another $0.075 poster plus a $0.02 compose, or about $0.10 per city, so a full second wave for eight cities is under a dollar (read 2026-10-03).
