Pika's pricing page (read 2026-10-02) lists Seedance 2.5 at 122 credits for one 720p, 5-second clip. A credit costs about $0.0111 on the Starter, Creator and Fancy plans, so that clip is about $1.36; bought through a one-time credit pack at 60 credits per dollar, the same clip is about $2.03.

Where the dollar figure comes from

Pika prints plan prices and monthly credits, not a price per credit, so the per-credit rate is derived: Starter is $10 for 900 credits, Creator $35 for 3,150, and Fancy $95 for 8,550 or more. All three land at roughly $0.0111 per credit. Annual billing takes 20% off, which puts Starter at $8 a month, or about $0.0089 per credit.

Packs are priced separately: the page says one-time top-ups give 60 credits per $1, from 1,500 credits for $25 up to 66,000 credits for $1,000 including a 10% bonus.

Per second, so you can compare

Dividing by the 5 seconds on the label, the Seedance 2.5 clip is about $0.27 per second on a plan and about $0.41 per second from a pack. Wan 3.0 at the same size is about $0.07 per second on a plan. Those are the only duration and resolution combinations the page lists, so do not extrapolate to 10-second or 1080p clips: Pika does not print those numbers on this page.

How Sume prices the same model

Sume has no credit units in the API. The wallet is in US dollars, and the video docs say each video job reserves its cost on submit at the provider list price times 1.25, with usage.cost reporting the Sume billable amount. seedance-2.5 is a catalog id there and accepts 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p and 1080p.

The per-second list rate is not hard-coded in this post on purpose: read it from GET /v1/videos/models (the pricing_skus field) before you budget, because the catalog is the source of truth. What the docs describe is one rule for every model; they do not describe a cheaper plan rate versus a dearer pack rate.

What to take from it

If you buy Pika credits, buy them on a plan when you can: the same 122-credit clip costs about 50% more from packs. Whatever tool you use, convert the credit price to dollars per finished second before comparing, and see the billing docs for how Sume top-ups and balance reads work.
