Photographer portfolio reel: four portraits, four Seedance Fast clips

A photographer can turn four portraits into a portfolio reel by running four seedance-2-fast jobs of 4 seconds each at 720p 9:16, $1.21 each and $4.84 in total on Sume, then joining them on a timeline. For comparison, seedance-2-mini is $0.76 per clip at the same settings (Video Router, read 2026-10-05).

How do I send four jobs?

Submit one job per portrait, each with the photo as first_frame. Add an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request returns the original job.

What does the reel cost by Seedance id?

Fast and Mini stop at 720p. If you want 1080p portraits, move to seedance-2 or seedance-2.5.

How do I poll and download the result?

A submit returns 202 with id, polling_url, status and model. Poll GET /v1/videos/{id} until status is completed (the other terminal values are failed and cancelled), then download from GET /v1/videos/{id}/content?index=0 with the same bearer key. Poll all four jobs, then download each one.

Put the four MP4 URLs on the Timeline compose tool in order, and add a music bed if you want one.
