One-take walkthrough prompts: store, kitchen, studio on Seedance 2.5
Three one-take walkthrough prompts for Seedance 2.5 (store aisle, restaurant kitchen, studio), each with a route, a pace and a 30 s price at 480p to 1080p.

A walkthrough prompt works when it gives the camera a route with a start, a turn and a stop, and keeps the pace in one phrase. Seedance 2.5 on Sume takes up to 30 seconds in one request, enough for a short route through a store, a kitchen or a studio without a cut.
A 30-second 16:9 walkthrough costs $8.07 at 480p, $17.34 at 720p and $42.65 at 1080p on Sume (read 2026-10-05).
The route formula
Name the start point, the direction of travel, one turn, and the stop. Then add the pace ("slow steady walk") and the camera height ("chest height"). Avoid listing more than three things to see; each extra item competes for time in a 30-second take, and the model may rush or skip it.
ByteDance Seed describes Seedance 2.5 as built for one-take creation, with up to 30 seconds per generation (read 2026-10-05). That is the length budget, not a promise about how many subjects fit. Plan about 8-10 seconds per thing you want the viewer to notice.
Three templates
Each is one block you can paste into the prompt field.
- Store aisle: "Chest-height camera starts at the shop entrance and walks slowly down the center aisle past wooden shelves of folded sweaters, turns left at the register counter, and stops facing a window display. Steady pace, warm interior light."
- Restaurant kitchen: "Camera starts at the pass and moves along the line behind the cooks, slow steady pace, passes a chef plating a salad, turns right at the grill, and ends on a finished dish under a heat lamp. Natural kitchen sounds, no music."
- Studio: "Camera starts at the studio door, glides past a camera on a tripod and a light stand, turns toward a desk with a laptop, and stops on the laptop screen. Slow pace, daylight from large windows."
Price at three resolutions
Choose the length first, then the resolution. Price does not change with aspect ratio on this model.
| Length | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 s | $2.69 | $5.78 | $14.22 |
| 15 s | $4.04 | $8.67 | $21.33 |
| 20 s | $5.38 | $11.56 | $28.44 |
| 30 s | $8.07 | $17.34 | $42.65 |
Request for the store aisle
Start at 480p to check the route, then re-submit at a higher resolution.

-d '{"model":"seedance-2.5","prompt":"Chest-height camera starts at the shop entrance and walks slowly down the center aisle past wooden shelves of folded sweaters, turns left at the register counter, and stops facing a window display. Steady pace, warm interior light.","duration":30,"resolution":"480p","aspect_ratio":"16:9"}'Judge the route, then the detail
Look at the draft for three things: does the camera start where you said, does the turn happen once, and does it stop. If the route is right, upgrade the resolution. If it is wrong, change the route sentence and rerun at 480p; a 480p retry costs $8.07 for a full 30 seconds.
Real places have real signs, menus and brand marks. A generated walkthrough will invent them, so do not use one as proof of a real location. It suits concept previews and mood films. If you need the real shop, send photos as references (Sume's validation accepts up to 9 reference images on this model) and treat the result as an illustration of the space.
If the route needs more than 30 seconds, the single-request ceiling applies: Sume's Seedance 2.5 row stops at 30 seconds, so a longer route is two jobs, and you decide where the seam hides (a doorway, a turn). The vendor mentions multi-round extension on its own platforms; Sume's video docs do not list an extend field for this model, so plan two requests instead.
A practical split for a 45-second route is a 30-second job and a 15-second job. End the first at a doorway or a turn and start the second from a still frame taken from the last second of the first, sent as a first-frame image. The join will not be invisible, but a doorway hides most of it, and the second job costs only $8.67 at 720p.
