Two 30-second Wan 3.0 shots plus one Timeline render make a finished 60-second video for $3.86 at 480p, $7.60 at 720p and $15.10 at 1080p on Sume (as of 2026-10-08).

The sum

Wan 3.0 30 s is 188 cents at 480p (30 x 0.0625 = 1.875, rounded up), 375 at 720p and 750 at 1080p. Two shots are doubled, and the 60 s Timeline render adds 10 cents.

Two 30 s Wan 3.0 shots + one Timeline render (as of 2026-10-08)
ResolutionOne 30 s shotTwo shotsPlus Timeline $0.10
480p$1.88$3.76$3.86
720p$3.75$7.50$7.60
1080p$7.50$15.00$15.10

Against Seedance 2.5

The same finished minute at 720p on Seedance 2.5 is $34.78, so Wan 3.0 costs 7.60 / 34.78 = 22% as much. At 1080p it is 15.10 / 85.40 = 18%. These are price ratios only.

A reasonable plan is to build the whole minute on Wan 3.0 at 480p for $3.86 as an animatic, then regenerate only the shots that matter at a higher setting.

Rules that apply to both

The Timeline fee rounds up per output minute. A 60 s program costs one minute; a 61 s program costs two. See the separate post on that edge. Source clips must be hosted on media.sume.com, and the plan endpoint returns the cost without creating a job.

Wan 3.0 accepts references: up to 10 images, 5 videos (15 s in total, 16 fps or higher) and 5 audio tracks (15 s in total) in the catalog constraints. Use them to keep a character consistent across the two shots.

Scaling to a month

Ten finished minutes a month cost $38.60 at 480p, $76.00 at 720p and $151.00 at 1080p. A team that drafts every minute at 480p and finishes at 720p spends $38.60 + $76.00 = $114.60 for ten minutes.

Compare that with ten minutes on Seedance 2.5 at 720p: $347.80. The Wan route leaves about $272 per ten minutes for retakes, music or a second model on hero shots.

Check the number yourself

To confirm the figure behind this post, read the wan-3.0 entry from GET /v1/video-router/models and check that 30 s and 720p are inside its duration_seconds and resolutions. The grid price for that cell is 375 cents ($3.75). It is the provider list price times 1.25, rounded up to the next cent for the job, as of 2026-10-08.

Use an Idempotency-Key on every create call so a retry cannot start a second paid job, then poll the job until it is complete and download the file from the result. Media inputs for Timeline or for references must be hosted files, so import them first.

None of the prices here say anything about picture quality, motion or how well a model follows a prompt. Prices can change when a provider changes its list, which is why every table carries a date. Re-read the catalog before you commit a large batch, and run one test job at the exact setting you plan to use.
