On Sume, a 10-second clip is $0.375 at 360p, $1.25 at 720p, $1.875 at 1080p and $3.75 at 4K with Gemini Omni Flash 1.1. kling-3 offers 720p and 1080p only, at $2.10 with sound or $1.40 with generate_audio off. Omni is cheaper than Kling 3 with sound at both shared resolutions; silent Kling 3 at 1080p ($1.40) undercuts Omni ($1.875).

Kling 4.0 has been announced. Sume's catalog lists kling-3, and this post prices only what Sume ships today.

10 seconds, every tier

Kling 3 has no 360p or 4K, and its price does not change between 720p and 1080p. Its sound switch moves the price: $0.21 per second on, $0.14 off.

Other differences

  • Length: Omni is 3 to 10 seconds; kling-3 is 4 to 15 seconds.
  • Audio: Omni always generates native audio; kling-3 has a generate_audio toggle.
  • Ratios: Omni is 16:9 or 9:16 only; kling-3 also takes 1:1.
  • References: kling-3 takes no reference inputs; Omni accepts image and video references.

Decision

If the delivery is a 720p vertical ad under 10 seconds, Omni is the cheaper request. Past 10 seconds, for a 1:1 ratio, or when a silent clip at 1080p is enough, test kling-3 against it with the same prompt using only the model field.
