Three concepts in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 at 10 seconds each is 90 video seconds. At Wan 3.0 720p that is $11.25 on Sume; Seedance 2.5 is about $52.

A Performance Max asset group with three video concepts in all three orientations needs nine clips. At 10 seconds each that is 90 output seconds, and on Sume the cost runs from $5.63 (Wan 3.0 at 480p) to about $52 (Seedance 2.5 at 720p), depending on the model. Google's help page says video assets must run 10 seconds or more and that you can add up to 15 videos per orientation across 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 (read 2026-10-08).

What Google asks for

Google recommends one video in each orientation, and says that if you upload none, one may be generated from the asset group. Uploading your own set in all three formats is what the page ties to an Excellent ad strength rating.

  • Minimum length: 10 seconds.
  • Orientations: 16:9, 1:1, 9:16.
  • Per orientation: at least 1 and at most 15 videos.

Price per model for nine clips

Each clip below is 10 seconds. All three ratios are 921,600 pixels at 720p, so one 720p rate covers 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 for the Seedance and Wan families. Per-second figures are the provider list rate times the 1.25 Sume margin that the docs describe, as of 2026-10-08. Read capabilities from GET /v1/video-router/models before you bill a batch, because rates and envelopes can change.

Which models can make all three ratios

Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 accepts 16:9 and 9:16 only, so it cannot produce the 1:1 set. Kling 3 lists 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 but caps at 15 seconds, which is fine here. Grok Imagine Video 1.5 has no aspect_ratio field, so the ratio follows the source image; crop three stills to the three shapes first.

  • Wan 3.0: 2 to 30 s, lists 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16.
  • Seedance family: 4 to 15 s (2.5 goes to 30 s), lists all three.
  • Gemini Omni Flash 1.1: no 1:1.

Arithmetic and submission

Wan 3.0 at 720p: $0.125 x 10 s = $1.25 per clip, and $1.25 x 9 = $11.25. At 480p: $0.0625 x 10 = $0.625, times 9 = $5.625. Seedance 2.5: $0.5778 x 10 = $5.778, times 9 = $52.00. Submit each clip as its own POST /v1/videos job with its own Idempotency-Key, and keep the batch under your plan's accepted generation capacity (see the admission guide).

Where the money goes

Most of the cost sits in the model choice, not the count. Nine 10-second clips on Wan 3.0 at 720p are $11.25, which is the same as about two 10-second clips on Seedance 2.5 ($5.778 each, $11.556 for two). A common split is to render the three concepts once in a cheap tier, pick the strongest concept, and re-render only that concept in a higher tier in all three ratios.

Another saving is image-to-video. If each concept starts from the same product still, the three ratios share a source and differ only in the crop, so the three clips stay visually related.

  • Draft: 3 concepts x 1 ratio at Wan 480p, 10 s: 3 x $0.625 = $1.875.
  • Final: 1 winning concept x 3 ratios at Wan 720p: 3 x $1.25 = $3.75.
  • Total for that route: $5.625, less than half the $11.25 of the full nine-clip run.
