Eight local presenters in one 20-second ad cost $60.00 at 768p ($7.50 per market) or $90.00 at 1080p ($11.25 per market) with H3 Max Recast on Sume. Each market is one job with one photo.

Eight markets, two resolutions

Twenty seconds at $0.30 per second is $6.00 list at 768p, or $7.50 after the 1.25 margin. At 1080p it is 20 x $0.45 = $9.00 list, $11.25 billable.

What stays the same across markets

The soundtrack is the source soundtrack. Recast keeps the original sound, so if the ad is voice-led the new presenter will still move to the old voice. For a localized ad you need a voice that fits the market, so plan a voice and caption step on top of the swap, for example with video captions, and treat the swap as only the picture half.

That also means the swap is best on ads where the original audio is music, a voice-over in the target language, or a sound design that works anywhere.

Source checks for a 20-second master

A 20-second source passes the 5 to 30 second window. It needs a cut at least every 15 seconds. The usual 20-second ad has three to six cuts, so it passes. Send the length rounded up: a 19.6-second master bills as 20.

  • One master video, uploaded once.
  • One photo for each market's presenter.
  • 768p default; 1080p opt-in per final.
  • Queue the eight jobs together and collect the results as they finish.

Budgeting the rollout

A draft pass for all eight markets at 768p is $60.00. If three of the eight need a 1080p final for paid placement, add 3 x $11.25 = $33.75, for a total of $93.75.

A per-market view

Eight markets sound like a lot but the cost per market is small. At 768p each is $7.50, which is small next to the media spend. The costs that matter more are the ones around the swap: a local voice, local captions and a review by someone who speaks the language. Build the pipeline so that the swap is a step in a longer chain: master ad, recast per market, voice and captions per market, review, publish. Run the first market end to end before queueing the other seven, since a mistake in the master repeats eight times.

Plan for local review. Ask a reviewer in each market to approve the result before it runs, including the first and last frames, since those are where the original ad's end card and the new presenter can clash. Eight reviews take less time when each reviewer gets a clear checklist and a link to the single file for their market.
