Nano Banana 2 Lite's 10 aspect ratios: what to send for 4:5
Lite accepts 10 ratios including 4:5 and 21:9. On Sume, Instagram 1080x1350 is aspect_ratio 4:5, and Nano Banana Pro or 2 list it; Imagen and Grok do not.

Nano Banana 2 Lite accepts ten aspect ratios, including 4:5 for Instagram portrait and 21:9 for ultrawide, per Google's image-generation page. Lite itself is not in the Sume catalog, but Sume's Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 rows include 4:5.
Lite's ratios
The list below is from Google's page.
| Orientation | Ratios |
|---|---|
| Square | 1:1 |
| Landscape | 3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 16:9, 21:9 |
| Portrait | 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 9:16 |
Check the count
Count: 1 + 5 + 4 = 10. Landscape and portrait are mirrored except 21:9, which has no portrait twin in the list.
What to send for Instagram on Sume
The Sume docs say 4:5 is Instagram portrait (1080x1350), not 4:3. On Nano Banana, a 1080x1350 size becomes aspect_ratio: "4:5" plus a job target_pixels; the native Banana output is about 928x1152 at 1K, and the exact 1080x1350 is a documented post-step. Imagen and Grok do not list 4:5, so a 4:5 request to them returns a catalog error.
{
"model": "google/nano-banana-pro",
"prompt": "a skincare bottle on a marble shelf, soft morning light",
"aspect_ratio": "4:5"
}Verify before you send
Each model accepts only the ratios in its catalog row, so read supported_parameters before you pin one. A value not listed returns 400 unsupported_parameter.
