Mubert Render's tracks-per-month plans work out to $0.028 a track on Creator (non-commercial), $0.078 on Pro with commercial use and $0.199 on Business. Annual billing lowers these to $0.0234, $0.065 and $0.149. Sume Music is $0.125 per accepted generation. Read 2026-10-03.

At those rates Mubert is cheaper per generated track, and the real comparison is rights: the plan that is cheapest is the one that does not allow commercial use.

What the page lists

Ambassador (free) is 25 tracks a month and 5 downloads, MP3, non-commercial. Creator has 500 tracks, unlimited downloads, WAV and MP3, and non-commercial use. Pro has the same 500 with commercial use and a full track editor. Business has 1,000 with commercial use for apps and agency work. The page also notes tracks cannot be published on music streaming platforms on any plan.

The commercial-use gap

For a creator who wants to use tracks in a paid ad, the relevant row is Pro at $0.078 a track, not Creator at $0.028. Sume Music at $0.125 is 1.6 times Pro's per-track price at full use. At 100 tracks in a month, Pro is still $39 while Sume is $12.50.

The break-even is 312 tracks: below that many generations a month, Sume costs less than Pro; above it, Pro costs less.

Other differences

Mubert's Creator plan and above list stem and duration editing, and its page lists an API under separate pricing on request. Sume Music returns one MP3 per generation at a fixed price. Neither page tells you the licence for a given use in an ad, so read the terms.

Limits

Price is the easy part of choosing a music tool. The licence is the hard part.

  • Tracks are generations, not necessarily downloads; Mubert's free tier separates them.
  • The streaming-platform restriction applies on every plan.
  • Music API pricing on Mubert is not published.
