ElevenLabs charges $0.15 per minute of generated music, and Sume Music 1.0 charges a flat $0.125 per accepted generation regardless of prompt length, so a track longer than 50 seconds is cheaper on Sume on price alone. A 2 minute track is $0.30 on ElevenLabs and $0.125 on Sume.

The ElevenLabs rate is from its API pricing page as read today. The Sume figure is the pricing section of the Music docs, which state the price does not vary by prompt length or optional image conditioning.

By track length

ElevenLabs cost is minutes x $0.15; Sume is one generation at $0.125.

Reading the comparison

Break-even is $0.125 / $0.15 per minute = 0.833 minutes, or 50 seconds. Below that, ElevenLabs is cheaper per track. Above it, a flat generation fee is cheaper, but only if Music 1.0 produces the length you want: its docs say length is steered by the prompt, for example by asking for a 2 minute track, not by a duration parameter.

For 40 scoring cues, the cost is 40 x $0.125 = $5.00 on Sume. On ElevenLabs it depends on cue length: 40 cues of 30 seconds each is 20 minutes x $0.15 = $3.00.
