Lunar New Year 2027 red packet art: six designs for $1.65
Lunar New Year starts Saturday Feb 6, 2027, the Year of the Fire Goat. Draw six red packet sleeve designs with Ideogram 4.5 on Sume for $1.65 at high quality.

Six red packet sleeve designs for Lunar New Year 2027 cost $1.65 on Sume if you generate them with Ideogram 4.5 at high quality ($0.275 each at list rates), or $0.225 if you use low quality ($0.0375 each). Lunar New Year starts on Saturday, February 6, 2027, and History.com (read 2026-10-11) names it the Year of the Fire Goat, also called the Red Goat or Ram.
These are concept and listing images, not print files. Treat them as artwork to review, then send the winners to your printer.
What dates should the print schedule use?
History.com gives the festival as running Saturday, February 6 through Saturday, February 20, 2027. A shop that sells packets has to ship before the 6th, so the artwork decision belongs in autumn, not January. Ask your printer for their own lead time and work back from it; this post cannot supply it.
How do you prompt six variants?
Fix the format and vary the motif. Put the same text rules into every prompt: a vertical 1:2 sleeve, a flat red field, gold line art, one goat motif and a short greeting you quote exactly. Then change one thing per design: ink-brush goat, paper-cut goat, a lantern pattern, a plum-blossom border, a minimalist gold seal, a kids' cartoon goat.
Ideogram 4.5 takes quality: low|medium|high. Send POST /v1/images with model: ideogram/ideogram-v4.5. The docs say that quality sets the price for any size, and medium is the default if you omit it.
- Quote greeting text in the prompt and check each character in the output
- Short English or Latin-letter greetings are safest to proof; have a fluent reader check any Chinese characters before printing
- Keep the same aspect ratio across all six so the set prints on one sleeve template
What does each tier cost?
Prices come from the Sume repository's pricing fixtures at list rates, before any workspace terms.
| Quality | Each | Six designs |
|---|---|---|
| Low | $0.0375 | $0.225 |
| Medium (default) | $0.075 | $0.45 |
| High | $0.275 | $1.65 |
When is high quality worth it?
Run all six at low, pick two, and rerun only those at high. That is $0.225 + $0.55 = $0.775 against $1.65 for everything at high. The cheap pass tells you whether the layout and the goat motif work before you pay for finer detail.
If you plan a matching greeting video, the earlier stored plan covers a 15-second version built from stills, a music bed and caption cues.
