Kling 4.0 Flash is 720p only: Sume models that reach 1080p and 4K
Kling 4.0 Flash early access outputs 720p, 3 to 20 seconds. If you need 1080p or 4K today, these Sume models take those resolutions, with the exact prices.

According to fal's Kling 4.0 explainer, which cites Kling's release notes, Kling 4.0 Flash is in limited early access since September 28, with 3 to 20 second clips at 720p only. The full Kling 4.0 is listed with 720p, 1080p and 4K. On Sume today, kling-3 reaches 1080p, and gemini-omni-flash-1.1 lists native 4K (MiniMax H3 offers 2K and 4K only as priced upscales of its 768p output).
The two Kling 4.0 tiers (read 2026-10-04)
fal says the full model launches in October 2026 and that Kling 4.0 is coming to fal soon, with endpoint details at launch. No public API is published yet in the sources I could read, so nothing below calls Kling 4.0.

Kling 3 today
Sume's kling-3 (Kling Video v3 Pro) takes 4 to 15 seconds, 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, text or image input and an end frame. It has no reference image or video inputs, so a Kling 4.0 workflow built on references will not port as is.

Use GET /v1/videos/models to confirm the current limits, then build against the Sume id that matches. When Kling 4.0 is published and listed there, adding it is a one-line model change.
