Hedra credit price: $0.0100 on Basic down to $0.0052 on Teams

Hedra Basic is $20 for 2,000 credits (1 cent each); Teams is $75 for 14,400 (0.52 cents). The page lists no credits per second; Sume prices per second.

Hedra's pricing page lists Basic at $20 a month for 2,000 credits, Pro at $50 for 7,200, Ultra at $100 for 18,000 and Teams at $75 for 14,400. That is $0.0100, $0.0069, $0.0056 and $0.0052 a credit. The page text I read does not give credits per second of video, so the credit price cannot yet be turned into a price per second, unlike Sume's flat $0.184, $0.245 and $0.55.

The ladder

Monthly prices as shown on the page, read on 2026-10-07. The last column is my division, rounded to four places.

Hedra plans and implied credit price, from the pricing page (read 2026-10-07)
PlanPrice a monthCredits a monthPer credit
Basic$202,000$0.0100
Pro$507,200$0.0069
Ultra$10018,000$0.0056
Teams$7514,400$0.0052

What is missing

A credit price is only half of a cost. You also need the credits a given generation uses, which can vary by model and length. The page mentions a developer API with unified inference across leading models, but the content I read gives no per-model pricing, maximum length or resolution.

Ultra is also shown with an allowance of up to 57,600 credits a month, and all paid plans list commercial use. Basic is described as slower, and Ultra as the fastest.

How Sume prices the same question

Sume's avatar rates are per second of the finished video: $0.184 standard, $0.245 plus, $0.55 max, with a 4-second minimum, so the cheapest clip is $0.736 on standard. Avatar creation is a flat $0.95. There is no monthly plan to size.

To compare, ask Hedra for the credits used by a 15-second talking clip at your resolution, then multiply by the ladder. Against Sume's 15-second prices of $2.76, $3.675 and $8.25, the answer will tell you whether a plan or pay-per-second suits your volume. The avatar video guide documents the 720p output.

A quick formula

Cost per clip equals credits used times the plan's per-credit price. Once you have the credits for a 15-second clip, put it in a small table with the four plans, and add Sume's $2.76, $3.675 and $8.25 beside it. The cheapest column is your answer for that clip length.
