400 previous_run_format_mismatch: continue a run on its own Format

Continuing a Format run on a different Format returns 400 previous_run_format_mismatch. Call the Format where the run started, or start a new run.

400 previous_run_format_mismatch means the run named in previous_run_id started on a different Format from the one in your URL. Send the continuation to the Format where the run began. A run is tied to its Format, and Sume does not move a thread between recipes (Runs and results).

The four refusals of a continuation

Name previous_run_id, not a thread id. A thread id gives 400 unknown_parameter.

RefusalMeans
404 previous_run_not_foundThe id is unknown, or someone else owns the run.
400 previous_run_format_mismatchThe run started on another Format.
409 previous_run_not_terminalThe run is still in progress. Poll, then call again.
400 previous_run_not_resumableThere is nothing to continue: no thread, or no finished work.

If you really want another recipe

Start a new run on the other Format, and pass the assets you want to keep as input or attachments. The new run has its own receipt, thread and cap. Bind the same output_schema each time, since it is per run and not inherited.
