Food truck menu clips: 5 weekly 6-second Seedance reels, $17.35
Five 6-second 9:16 specials clips a week cost $17.35 on Seedance 2.5 at 720p, $8.10 at 480p or $5.70 on Seedance 2.0 Mini. What each tier changes on Sume.

A food truck that posts one 6-second 9:16 clip per weekday pays $17.35 a week on Seedance 2.5 at 720p ($3.47 a clip), $8.10 at 480p, or $5.70 on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p ($1.14 a clip). Those are Sume prices at list x 1.25, read from the repo on 2026-10-07.
The job is small: a steaming dish, a hand adding a topping, a slow push-in on the truck window. Put the price and the day on the post as a caption or overlay, not in the generated frames, because generated text is the least reliable thing a video model draws.
Pick the tier by what the clip has to do
All four Seedance ids on Sume take 9:16, a first frame, and a last frame. Only 2.5 reaches 1080p and 30 seconds, and neither matters for a 6-second reel.
| Tier | Max length | Resolutions | 6 s at 9:16, 720p | 6 s at 9:16, 480p |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| seedance-2.5 | 30 s | 480p, 720p, 1080p | $3.47 | $1.62 |
| seedance-2 | 15 s | 480p, 720p, 1080p | $2.27 | $1.06 |
| seedance-2-fast | 15 s | 480p, 720p | $1.82 | $0.85 |
| seedance-2-mini | 15 s | 480p, 720p | $1.14 | $0.53 |
Request notes
For a clip that starts from a photo of the dish, send it as a first_frame in frame_images and keep the prompt to the motion: steam rising, a sauce drizzle, a slow push-in. A clip with no image is text-to-video, and the model will invent the dish.
The case for 2.5 over Mini is the look of the take you ship. The case for Mini is volume: three Mini takes ($3.42) cost about one 2.5 take at 720p ($3.47). Run the same prompt on both once and judge the frames, not the spec sheet.
Length is not the lever
Instagram Reels now run up to three minutes, reported by NapoleonCat (secondary source, read 2026-10-07), but a menu special does not gain from length. Stay between the 4-second minimum and about 8 seconds, and post more often instead.
