Fix a wrong product color in an AI clip with Gemini Omni Flash edit
TikTok Shop bans AI that changes a product's color, size or material. Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 on Sume edits one clip from a prompt instead of re-rolling it.

If an AI clip shows a product in the wrong color, send the clip to gemini-omni-flash-1.1 with the video_url field and a prompt like "Change the bottle to matte black. Keep everything else the same." That is Sume's video edit mode, and it avoids re-rolling the whole scene. You then check the result against your listing, because TikTok Shop prohibits AI that misrepresents a product's size, color, material, quantity, or features.
TikTok's US Shop page says AI must not change a product's size, color, material, quantity, bundle contents or features, and the UK page bars altering product attributes such as making it look larger or smaller or misrepresenting the packaging.
What the edit mode accepts
From the Video Router docs: the edit capability takes video_url and a prompt with the instructions. resolution is optional and defaults to 720p, and you do not send aspect_ratio or duration. video_url is the edit source, not a reference, so you cannot send it together with image_url, end_image_url, or reference_*_urls. Native audio is always on. The model's general range is 3-10 seconds at 360p to 4K in 16:9 or 9:16, billed at the provider list times 1.25 per output second.
| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| Source | video_url only (no image or reference fields with it) |
| Prompt | The edit instruction |
resolution | Optional, default 720p |
aspect_ratio, duration | Not sent for an edit |
| Audio | Native audio always on; generate_audio: false is rejected |

}'Prove the fix before you post
A prompt edit is not a guarantee. Import the result and pull stills with Video frames (at[], up to 24 frames per call), then lay them beside the listing photos. Check color under the same light, and check that the edit did not change the label, logo, or quantity.
If the product is shown differently from the listing in any frame, re-run or pick a different take. Both Shop pages require disclosure when AI plays a significant role, so keep the AI-generated toggle on for the edited clip.
If the edit drifts
After an edit, compare against the product page, not against the source clip. An edit can fix the hue and leave a distorted logo.
If the edit changed more than you asked, narrow the instruction to the single attribute and name what must stay the same. If it still drifts, a fresh generation with the correct color in the prompt may be cheaper than repeated edits.
For a longer clip, cut the shot that needs the fix with video trim ($0.02 per job), edit it, and join it back, so approved shots stay untouched.
