Fitness coach 12-week challenge: weekly avatar kickoff clips, cost
Twelve weekly 15-second kickoff videos from one AI avatar cost about $33 at standard and $44 at plus. See the per-week math and a scripting pattern.
A 12 week challenge works better with a Monday message that says what this week asks of members. Recording twelve clips by hand is a chore, and a coach who travels may miss one. An avatar that delivers a 15 second kickoff each week removes that risk. This post prices it.
The cost for twelve clips
Fifteen seconds is around 35 to 40 words: this week's focus, one tip, one target. Rates with no product image are $0.184 (standard), $0.245 (plus) and $0.55 (max) per second.
| Quality | One clip | Twelve clips |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $2.76 each | $33.12 for 12 |
| Plus (default) | $3.68 each (3.675 exact) | About $44.10 for 12 |
| Max | $8.25 each | $99.00 for 12 |
Add captions
Most members will watch on mute in a feed. The route takes an optional captions setting with styles such as tiktok-green, slam and punch; captions are burned into the clean MP4 at the end, not into preview stills. Check the docs for the full style list before you pick one.
A pattern for the script
Use the same three beats each week so members know what to expect: name the week, give one action, give a target number. Week 4 could be: "Week four. This week, add one set to every lift. Aim for three sessions." Only the second and third sentences change, so twelve scripts take minutes to write.
- Render all twelve at standard on day one and schedule them.
- Re-render a single week at plus if you want a nicer take for the final week.
- Keep one avatar handle for the whole challenge.
Be clear it is an avatar
If members believe the coach is recording live, tell them otherwise in the welcome note. Trust matters more than the $2.76 you save.
How to schedule it
Call the route twelve times with an Idempotency-Key per week, such as challenge-week-04, so a retry does not create a second video and a second charge. Poll each job or register a webhook, save the MP4 URLs, and drop them into your messaging tool on the right Monday.
