12,000 characters
The table multiplies each per-1,000 rate by 12. The struck-through prices are shown because the page does not state post-promo prices.
| Option | Per 1,000 characters | 12,000 characters | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| ElevenLabs v4 Turbo, promo | $0.011 | $0.132 | until Oct 12 |
| ElevenLabs v4, promo | $0.022 | $0.264 | until Oct 12 |
| ElevenLabs v4 Turbo, struck-through | $0.040 | $0.48 | not confirmed after Oct 12 |
| Sume TTS 1.0 | $0.0475 | $0.57 | catalog price |
| ElevenLabs v4, struck-through | $0.080 | $0.96 | not confirmed after Oct 12 |
Sume's position
Sume TTS is 19% above the v4 Turbo struck-through price ($0.0475 / $0.04 = 1.19) and 41% below the v4 struck-through price ($0.0475 / $0.08 = 0.59). It does not beat either promo price. The promo prices are 2.2x and 4.3x cheaper than Sume's rate.
A Sume request is capped at 20,000 characters ($0.95), so 12,000 characters fits in one request.
What you gain on Sume
Sume's per-character rate is a flat catalog number you can compute from script length before you submit, and the audio arrives through the same job and webhook format as Sume video and images. That is the reason to choose it over a cheaper promo, not price. If the project is voice-only and the promo applies, use the promo. The live per-model list is at GET /v1/tts-router/models.
