Nine priced entries on Artificial Analysis's video-editing board (AA-Video-Editing v1.1) list between $9.60 and $40.82 per minute of footage, from MiniMax H3 at 768p up to Seedance 2.5. On Sume the only documented edit model is Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, which costs $0.125 per second at 720p, so $7.50 for a minute of source and $3.75 for 30 seconds. That is below every board price.

The board price is a vendor list price per minute. The Sume price is the list x 1.25 and the edit follows the source length, so a clip's cost is its seconds times the rate.

The board's price ladder

Rows are sorted by listed price. The last column is the cost of a 30 second source at that price, which is half the per-minute figure.

What Sume charges for the edit

Sume's Video Router takes video_url and a prompt for Gemini Omni Flash 1.1. Resolution is optional and defaults to 720p, and the output length follows the source clip. The rates below are the provider list x 1.25 per second.

Reading the two tables together

At 720p Sume's Omni edit is $7.50 per minute against the board's $9.64 for the same model. At 1080p it is $11.25, above the board's $9.64 for the same model. The board does not say which size each price is for, so check the size before you compare a Sume price to a board figure.

Rank matters as well as price. Omni is third at 1,139 Elo; the price leaders above it on the board are H3 (4th) and the lower-ranked Kling Omni (9th). Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 rank first and second but have no edit route on Sume. See the editing board post for those ranks and the model-by-job list for other jobs.

A 90 second example

Take a 90 second source clip. The board price scales with length: MiniMax H3 at $9.60 per minute is $14.40, Wan 3.0 at $12.00 is $18.00 and Seedance 2.5 at $40.82 is $61.23. On Sume the Omni edit at 720p is 90 x $0.125 = $11.25.

Check the numbers above against your own footage length, and keep in mind that a board price is a list price for the vendor's own service, not a quote from Sume.

What the board does not say

The board rows list one price per minute for each entry. They do not say which size each price assumes, so the table above is a guide to order of magnitude, not a quote. For a real bid, ask each vendor for its own page rate at the size you will use.
