Creatify AI Avatar 5 credits a video vs Sume per-second tier rates
Creatify's docs charge 5 credits per AI Avatar video and 1 credit a second for Aurora. Sume charges per second: $0.736 for 4 s to $11.04 for 60 s on standard.
Creatify's API docs state 5 credits per AI Avatar video, for both the v1 lipsync and v2 multi-scene versions, and 1 credit per second for its Aurora model, or 0.5 per second for the fast variant, with partial seconds rounded up. Sume prices Avatar 1.0 per second (quality defaults to plus; send standard for the cheaper tier), so a 4-second clip on the standard tier is $0.736 and a 60-second clip is $11.04 without a product image.
The Creatify numbers are from its API docs text, read 2026-10-03. Its link-to-video and template pricing is quoted per 30 seconds and is not compared here. Sume's numbers are from Generate avatar video and API pricing.
Per video, or per second?
Per-video pricing is simple to budget when every video is the same length. The docs read for this post give 5 credits for an AI Avatar video and do not state a length cap for that price, so the credit count says nothing about how long the video may run. Aurora is the opposite: credits scale with seconds and round up to the next whole second.
Sume's pricing has no per-video flat fee. The charge is the seconds of the clip times the rate for the tier, and the product-image rate is a little higher than the productless one.
| Product | Unit stated | Rate stated |
|---|---|---|
| Creatify AI Avatar v1 and v2 | Per video generated | 5 credits |
| Creatify Aurora | Per second, rounded up | 1 credit (aurora_v1), 0.5 credit (aurora_v1_fast) |
| Sume Avatar 1.0 standard | Per second | $0.184 no product, $0.194 with product |
| Sume Avatar 1.0 plus / max | Per second | $0.245 / $0.55 no product; $0.258 / $0.58 with product |
What a few lengths cost on Sume
Because Sume is linear in seconds, the cost curve is easy to write down. Using the productless rates, 4 seconds is the floor of the window, 15 seconds is a typical ad hook plus offer, and 60 seconds is the ceiling.
| Length | standard | plus | max |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 s | $0.736 | $0.98 | $2.20 |
| 15 s | $2.76 | $3.675 | $8.25 |
| 30 s | $5.52 | $7.35 | $16.50 |
| 60 s | $11.04 | $14.70 | $33.00 |
How to compare without inventing a conversion
Creatify's credit has a dollar value that depends on the plan you buy, and the docs text read here does not state it. So a fair comparison needs one thing from you: the dollar price of a credit on your plan. Multiply that by 5 for a video, and compare it with the Sume figure for the length you actually need. If your videos run 15 seconds, Sume's standard clip is $2.76. If they run 60 seconds, it is $11.04.
Also compare what the price covers. Sume lets you preview first frames before a full render, set captions inline, and attach a product image, and each of those is documented on the same route. Check that the credit price you are comparing includes the same things.
