Avatar 1.0 talking video: 4 to 60 seconds, cost by quality tier
Work out what a 4, 15, 30 or 60 second Avatar 1.0 talking video costs at standard, plus and max quality, using the per-second rates in the Sume catalog.
An Avatar 1.0 talking video is billed per second of video, from 4 to 60 seconds. At the per-second rates in the Sume catalog, a 30-second video costs $5.52 at standard, $7.35 at plus and $16.50 at max. Plus is the default when you omit quality.
Cost grid
| Length | standard $0.184/s | plus $0.245/s | max $0.55/s |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 s | $0.74 | $0.98 | $2.20 |
| 15 s | $2.76 | $3.68 | $8.25 |
| 30 s | $5.52 | $7.35 | $16.50 |
| 60 s | $11.04 | $14.70 | $33.00 |
Choosing
Use standard (the fastest execution path) for drafts and scripts you are still editing. Plus is the balanced default, and max is the highest quality tier with slower turnaround, so keep it for hero placements. Product-image variants are priced slightly higher per second (for example $0.194 at standard), so read the catalog when you pass product_image.
Limits
Sume estimates the duration from the script or video_inputs, and the accepted window is 4 to 60 seconds in total. A longer script has to be shortened or split into several jobs. Prices change; read the catalog before budgeting. Creating the avatar itself is a separate one-time charge.
