20 B-roll clips of 5 seconds: Seedance 2.5, Fast or Mini, priced
Twenty 16:9 five-second B-roll clips cost $27.00 on Seedance 2.5 at 480p, $57.80 at 720p, and $8.80 on Mini at 480p. Full price table on Sume.

A library of 20 five-second 16:9 B-roll clips costs $27.00 on Seedance 2.5 at 480p and $57.80 at 720p on Sume. The cheapest Seedance route, Mini at 480p, is $8.80 for the same twenty. B-roll rarely needs the top model: it is background, cut short, and often replaced.
Prices below are Sume's: provider list rate per 1,000 video tokens times 1.25, rounded up to the cent per job.
Price per five-second clip and per twenty
| Model | Resolution | One 5 s clip | Twenty clips |
|---|---|---|---|
seedance-2.5 | 480p | $1.35 | $27.00 |
seedance-2.5 | 720p | $2.89 | $57.80 |
seedance-2-fast | 480p | $0.71 | $14.20 |
seedance-2-fast | 720p | $1.52 | $30.40 |
seedance-2-mini | 480p | $0.44 | $8.80 |
seedance-2-mini | 720p | $0.95 | $19.00 |
Choosing
Fast and Mini stop at 720p, so a 1080p library has only one Seedance option, 2.5 or 2.0. The 2.5 family also runs to 30 seconds per job; for 5-second B-roll that headroom is irrelevant.
A sensible split: draft every shot at Mini 480p, keep what survives, and re-run only the shots you need at 720p on 2.5. If a third of drafts survive, the plan costs $29.03 for seven final 720p clips from twenty drafts.
One caution
There is no seed on Seedance in Sume, so a rerun is a new draw, not a refinement of the draft. Treat a draft as a pitch for the shot, not as a preview of the final frame.
