Akool's pricing page lists a maximum video resolution of 1080P on Starter, 4K on Pro, 8K on Pro Max and 16K on Business. Sume's avatar video guide says resolution is 720p at this time. If you need a bigger frame from Sume, you would have to do a separate upscale step, and I have not verified a Sume route that does that for avatar clips.

The Akool ceilings

These are plan-level maximums for generated video as the page words them, not necessarily what its avatar features output. I could not tell from the page text which features reach 16K.

What 720p is enough for

A 9:16 clip at 720p is 720 by 1280 pixels, which fills a phone screen for feed placements. Sume's default aspect ratio is 9:16, and the other supported ratios are 1:1, 3:4, 4:3 and 16:9. On a 16:9 slide in a webinar, 720p on a laptop is acceptable; full screen on a large monitor is soft.

Check the destination before worrying. Platforms re-encode uploads, and many ad placements show video small. If your use is a hero banner on a 4K display, 720p is the wrong source.

What to do if you need more

Test with a real clip. Render 4 seconds on standard for $0.736, play it at the final size and judge. If it fails, choose a tool whose avatar output reaches the resolution you need, and confirm that on the vendor's page for avatars specifically, not just the plan ceiling.

Sume's cost model also stays simple at 720p: one rate per second per tier, with no resolution multiplier on the Avatar rate card I read. That is a trade of resolution for predictability.

A note on aspect ratio

Resolution is only one of the frame settings. Sume's aspect_ratio accepts 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 4:3 and 16:9, with 9:16 the default. For a vertical ad, 9:16 at 720p matches what feeds display. For a slide deck, 16:9 is the better pick, and the clip can sit beside your slides.
