Avatar video aspect ratios: five choices, 720p only, 9:16 default
Sume Avatar 1.0 accepts 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 4:3 and 16:9, defaults to 9:16, and renders 720p only. What each choice means for a vertical or landscape ad.
Sume Avatar 1.0 talking video supports five aspect ratios: 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 4:3 and 16:9. The default is 9:16. The resolution field is 720p at this time, so there is no higher tier to choose. Pick the ratio by where the clip will be played, and use quality for the look, not for the size.
The options
Vertical is the default, so a vertical short needs no change. For a landscape embed, send 16:9. For a feed card, 1:1 or 3:4.
| Field | Values | Default |
|---|---|---|

Avatar video previews give first-frame stills before the render, so you can see how the avatar sits in the frame you chose. Scenes, products and photo references are public HTTPS URLs. For a platform's own size rules, read the platform's help page, because Sume's docs do not state them.
Picking by destination
The docs give no per-platform guidance, so the choice is yours. A rule that works without any platform claim: use the ratio your layout already has. A vertical story slot needs 9:16. A square card needs 1:1. A website hero or a slide needs 16:9. 3:4 and 4:3 are in between, for portrait and landscape cards.
Because the resolution is fixed at 720p, a landscape clip has fewer vertical pixels than a vertical one has of height. If you plan to upscale or crop later, check the first-frame preview at your chosen ratio before you pay for the full render.
Two more fields change cost and speed, not size. quality is standard (the fastest Sume path), plus (the default when omitted) or max (the highest tier, with slower turnaround). If you leave it out, you get plus.
