Until Oct 21, Adobe's Firefly Pro Plus costs $34.97 a month for the first year instead of $49.99, which is $0.0035 per credit, and Premium costs $139.91 instead of $199.99, which is $0.0028 per credit. Those are the numbers on Adobe's Firefly plans page, read on 2026-10-13, divided by the monthly credits each plan lists.

After the offer ends, both plans go back to $0.0050 and $0.0040 per credit. Standard and Pro have no discount listed, so they sit at $0.0050 a credit. This post shows the arithmetic and what the deadline is worth over a year.

Price per credit, read 2026-10-13

Price per credit is the monthly price divided by the monthly credits. The two upper plans are shown at both the first-year promotional price and the regular price.

What the deadline is worth

The saving on Pro Plus is $15.02 a month, $180.24 across the first year. On Premium it is $60.08 a month, $720.96 across the first year. The page states the 30% discount ends Oct 21 and applies to the first year, so after that the regular price returns.

The page also says all paid plans include unlimited access to standard image features such as Generative Fill, while video generation and audio translation consume credits, and that higher tiers list unlimited generations on select models during the first year. So the credit pool you buy mostly pays for video and audio work, not for standard image edits.

  • Pro Plus: $0.0035 per credit through Oct 21, then $0.0050.
  • Premium: $0.0028 per credit through Oct 21, then $0.0040.
  • Standard and Pro: no discount listed, $0.0050 per credit.

How Sume credits differ

Sume's billing docs describe no time-limited plan discount, so there is no deadline to plan around. Its Billing and credits page describes one balance for generation, the Sume Agent, Formats and the Developer API, with the API rate card showing credits per capability.

Plan credits arrive at the start of each billing period and expire at its end with no rollover; team workspaces can buy more that last longer but also expire. A request reserves credits when accepted and captures them on completion, and a failed or pre-start-cancelled request returns them. Before you submit over MCP, dry_run=true returns the estimate as usage.credits. See Errors and credits for the 402 insufficient_credits response.

Should you buy before Oct 21

If you already know you will use video or audio generation inside Adobe's apps all year, the first-year price on Pro Plus or Premium is the cheapest per-credit rate on the page, and the deadline is real. If you are still deciding between tools, price a single representative job on each before the date, using each vendor's own credit table.

The figures are a snapshot from 2026-10-13; confirm the end date and terms on Adobe's page before you pay.
