On Adobe's plans page, Firefly Standard is $9.99 a month with 2,000 credits for up to 20 five-second videos, so a five-second clip works out to about $0.50, my arithmetic. Pro is $19.99 for up to 40, also about $0.50. Pro Plus is listed at $34.97 on a first-year promotion for up to 100, about $0.35.

Per-second API prices for comparison

A five-second clip at a per-second rate is five times the rate. Runway's API page lists wan3 at $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 per second at 480p, 720p and 1080p. The Gemini API page lists Veo 3.1 Lite at $0.05 per second at 720p and $0.08 at 1080p.

Caveats

Plans bundle other features and have limits. The Adobe promotion on Pro Plus ends 21 October, per the page. Plan prices are subscriptions and API prices are metered, so comparing them assumes you use the whole plan.

Sume rate rule

Sume bills video at provider list times 1.25. A model listed at $0.05 per second would be $0.0625 per second on that rule, or $0.3125 for five seconds. See how Sume pricing works.
