Adobe's Firefly plans page lists a Premium plan at $199.99 regular ($139.91 promotional) with 50,000 credits and unlimited generations on Veo 3.1 Fast, Kling 3.0 and all image models. At the Gemini API list price of $0.12 per second for Veo 3.1 Fast at 1080p, $199.99 equals about 1,667 seconds a month of 1080p video, by my arithmetic.

The two prices

Google's Gemini API page lists Veo 3.1 Fast at $0.10 per second at 720p, $0.12 at 1080p and $0.30 at 4K, with audio, and says you are charged only if the video is successfully generated.

Firefly Premium$199.99 regular, $139.91 promo, unlimited Veo 3.1 Fast
Veo 3.1 Fast, 720p$0.10 per second
Veo 3.1 Fast, 1080p$0.12 per second
Veo 3.1 Fast, 4K$0.30 per second

Break-even arithmetic

Dividing $199.99 by $0.12 gives about 1,667 seconds, or 27.8 minutes of 1080p Veo 3.1 Fast. At the $139.91 promo it is about 1,166 seconds. If a billing layer adds 25% (Sume's rule is provider list times 1.25), the per-second rate becomes $0.15 and the break-even falls to about 1,333 seconds at the regular price.

  • Below that volume, per-second billing is cheaper.
  • Above it, a flat plan wins, if your use fits the plan's terms.
  • Check the plan page for fair-use terms; the page I read says unlimited without the detail.

How Sume bills

Sume bills each video model at provider list times 1.25, reserved on submit, and usage.cost is the billable amount. This post does not claim a Veo model is on Sume. The catalog is GET /v1/videos/models. See how Sume pricing works.
