The total

Finishing a 30-second spot with a 450-character voice-over, one music track, burned-in captions and a one-minute render bills 3 + 12.5 + 20 + 10 = 45.5 cents. Footage generation is separate and is not counted here.

Line items

Sume TTS list price is 38 micro-dollars (0.0038 cents) per character; the billable price is list x 1.25, rounded up to whole cents per job. That is 0.00475 cents per character before rounding, so a 20,000-character request is 20,000 x 0.00475 = 95 cents.

Where the budget moves

Music is the line most likely to multiply. The prompt controls the track and there is no seed, so plan for retries; five takes cost 5 x 12.5 = 62.5 cents. Captions are a fixed $0.20 for a clip up to 60 seconds, so adding style variants adds $0.20 each, though a restyle reuses the transcript.

The Timeline render bills a full minute for any output of 1 to 60 seconds, so a 30-second spot is charged as one minute.

Order of operations

Generate the voice first, because its length sets the render length. Build the music prompt with a 30-second arc, then render with the voice as the audio spine and the track as the soundtrack. Caption the finished clip last, so the captions match what is audible. See Music 1.0, Timeline 1.0 and Video captions.

What is not in the 45.5 cents

Footage is the big missing line. Video clips are priced per model, resolution and length, and a 30-second ad usually needs several clips, so the finishing stack here is the small part of the bill. Use the video pricing docs and the grid for that part and add it separately.

Stills, avatar shots and any retries of voice or music are also extra. Plan one extra voice take and two extra music takes as a rule of thumb: that adds 3 + 25 = 28 cents.

A repeatable template

For a weekly batch of ten ads the finishing stack is 10 x 45.5 = 455 cents, $4.55. Because every line is a fixed or per-character price, you can compute the bill before you submit anything, which is useful when a client wants a quote. Keep the voice script under 500 characters per 30 seconds as a starting point, and measure the first take against the actual duration.
