A 30-second launch hero: Seedance 2.5 $17.34, Wan 3.0 $3.75
Priced at 720p on Sume: a 30-second hero in one Seedance 2.5 job, one Wan 3.0 job, or three 10-second Omni Flash clips joined. The gap is large.

At 720p on Sume, a 30-second hero costs $17.34 in one Seedance 2.5 job, $3.75 in one Wan 3.0 job, and $3.85 as three 10-second Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 clips joined on Timeline (read 2026-10-08). Both Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 accept up to 30 seconds in one job, while Omni Flash stops at 10.
The three routes
Prices are Sume billable per job: catalog list x 1.25, rounded up to a cent. A longer single shot avoids a cut, but the cost is not linear in your favour: Seedance 2.5 at 30 seconds is exactly two 15-second jobs, so splitting it saves nothing and adds a join.
| Route | Arithmetic | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5, one 30 s job, 9:16 | 1734 cents | $17.34 |
| Seedance 2.5, two 15 s jobs + join | 2 x $8.67 + $0.10 | $17.44 |
| Wan 3.0, one 30 s job | 375 cents | $3.75 |
| Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, three 10 s + join | 3 x $1.25 + $0.10 | $3.85 |
What you give up
The cheaper routes are not drop-in swaps. Omni Flash is 16:9 or 9:16 with native synced audio always on and no audio reference. Wan 3.0 accepts reference audio and video, with limits of 5 clips and 15 seconds total for each type. Seedance 2.5 adds 1080p at a much higher price: its 30-second 9:16 clip is $42.65 at 1080p, five times the 720p price of Wan 3.0 for the same length multiplied again by resolution.
So decide by what the hero must do. A single continuous take favors one job. A montage of three beats favors the join, where each 10-second clip has its own prompt.
Test small first
A 30-second clip is a big bet on one prompt. Run the same prompt at 4 or 5 seconds on the target model to check the look, since Seedance 2.5 at 480p for 5 seconds is $1.35. Keep the Timeline plan call in the loop for the join: it is unbilled and tells you the billable minute before you pay.
