Turn a 30-second voice memo into a vertical status video
Put a 30-second voice recording under four stills and burned captions for a WhatsApp status or any vertical feed. Timeline body and a total of about 33 cents.

Import your voice memo, generate four stills, join them under the memo on Timeline 1.0, then burn captions: $0.3295 in total on Sume. The captions come from speech-to-text on the finished video, so you write nothing twice. This suits a quick status update from a shop owner who would rather speak than design.
Steps
- Import the memo audio as a workspace file (
POST /v1/media-imports); Timeline accepts onlymedia.sume.comURLs. - Generate four stills in 9:16-friendly compositions, or use your own photos.
- Render: the memo is
audio.url, withduration_secondsequal to its length. - Caption the result; speech captions need audible speech, which the memo gives.
The render body
A 30-second memo split across four slots; the last slot ends with the audio.

Privacy
A voice memo can include other people's names or numbers. Listen once before you publish, and keep the original audio private in your workspace.
Getting a clean memo
Record in a quiet room, hold the phone steady, and leave half a second of silence at the end so the final slot does not clip the last word. Aim for a single clear thought; thirty seconds is about one idea. If the memo is longer, trim it with audio detach on a video or cut it with timeline audio split, then render only the segment you want. State the spine length precisely: coverage may stop at most half a second before the end.
