Fifteen 25-second Seedance 2.5 trailers cost $100.75 at 480p, $216.68 at 720p and $533.08 at 1080p on Sume. The per-trailer prices are $6.72, $14.45 and $35.54. The calculation is video tokens x fal's $0.0214 per 1,000 (read 2026-10-09) x 1.25; the 1080p rate of $0.0234 comes from Sume's pricing code.

What does a trailer cost per tier?

Seedance 2.5, 25 s, 16:9, Sume price
TierTokensPer trailer15 trailers
480p251,100$6.72$100.75
720p540,000$14.45$216.68
1080p1,215,000$35.54$533.08

Why is 1080p so much dearer?

It is priced on pixels: 1920 x 1080 is 2.25 times the pixels of 1280 x 720 and 4.8 times 864 x 496, and the 1080p per-token rate is a little higher. The jump from 720p to 1080p is $21.09 per trailer.

Is one 25-second job allowed?

Yes. Seedance 2.5 accepts 4 to 30 seconds per request at 480p, 720p and 1080p, per the Video Router docs, so a trailer can be one job. Many other catalog models stop at 15 seconds.

How do I phase the spend?

  • Storyboard each trailer at 480p ($6.72) and approve scripts before any 1080p run.
  • Finish only approved trailers at 1080p: 5 of 15 is $177.69.
  • Hold a reserve: a 1080p wave of 4 trailers needs $142.16 available at submit.

What does one extra second cost?

Per second the 480p rate is $0.2687, the 720p rate $0.5778 and the 1080p rate $1.4216. Trimming a trailer from 25 to 20 seconds saves $7.11 at 1080p. Over 15 trailers that is $106.62.

A middle path is to keep the trailer at 720p and upscale outside the pipeline, if your delivery needs allow it. That costs $14.45 a trailer, $216.68 for 15, and avoids the 2.5x step to 1080p. I have not measured the quality difference, so run one trailer at each tier and judge it yourself.

Before you start, write the plan as numbers: 15 storyboards at 480p ($100.75), then approved trailers at 1080p ($35.54 each). If 8 of 15 are approved, the total is $100.75 + $284.31 = $385.06, against $533.08 for finishing all 15 at 1080p. The first line of that plan is the only one that is certain, so keep the rest as a range.
