100 drafts and 10 finals for $174.20 instead of 100 finals at $1,422
Render 100 five-second Wan 3.0 drafts at 480p ($32.00), then 10 ten-second Seedance 2.5 finals at 1080p ($142.20). The total is $174.20 against $1,422.00.

The short answer
A draft-then-final plan costs $174.20 on Sume: 100 five-second drafts on Wan 3.0 at 480p ($32.00) plus 10 ten-second finals on Seedance 2.5 at 1080p ($142.20). Rendering all 100 ideas as 1080p Seedance finals costs $1,422.00. The plan saves $1,247.80, or 88 percent.
The two plans
Sume bills the provider list price times 1.25, rounded up to whole cents for each job (the catalog formula reads "list x 1.25, ceil usd cents"). The amounts below come from that formula, applied to the catalog as of 2026-10-08.
| Plan | Arithmetic | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 100 drafts, Wan 3.0, 480p, 5 s | 100 x $0.32 | $32.00 |
| 10 finals, Seedance 2.5, 1080p, 16:9, 10 s | 10 x $14.22 | $142.20 |
| Draft-then-final total | $174.20 | |
| All 100 as finals | 100 x $14.22 | $1,422.00 |
Checking the draft price
Wan 3.0 at 480p lists $0.05 per second: $0.05 x 5 s = $0.25; x 1.25 = $0.3125, rounded up to $0.32. Across 100 drafts the rounding adds 0.75 cents per draft over the exact figure, so $32.00 instead of $31.25. The final price comes from the Seedance token price ($0.0214 per 1,000 tokens list), computed for the exact request; the grid value is $14.22 for 10 s at 1080p.
If you promote 20 drafts instead of 10, the plan is $32.00 + 20 x $14.22 = $316.40, still 78 percent below the all-finals plan.
Sizing the funnel
The draft count and the promote rate set the plan. At 1 in 10 promoted, the finals line is 10% of the idea count times $14.22. At 1 in 5 it doubles to $284.40 for 20 finals, bringing the total to $316.40. Even then it is 22 percent of the all-finals price. For 50 ideas at 1 in 10, the plan is 50 x $0.32 + 5 x $14.22 = $16.00 + $71.10 = $87.10.
Notice what the draft line buys. At $0.32 each, the 100 drafts cost less than three finals ($42.66). If three of the hundred ideas would have been the winners anyway, the funnel pays for itself in one round.
Caveats on drafts
A draft only helps if it predicts the final. Different models do not move or frame a prompt identically, so for fidelity re-run the same model at a lower resolution: Seedance 2.5 at 480p for 5 s is $1.35, which makes 100 drafts $135.00, and the plan becomes $277.20. You then pay for model fidelity with $103 more. The right choice depends on how well your cheap model predicts the expensive one.
See Video generation for the request fields and Video Router for per-model limits (Wan 3.0 accepts 2 to 30 seconds; Seedance 2.5 accepts 4 to 30).
