Scheduling: TikTok 10 days, Meta One stories 30. Clips to render
TikTok schedules posts 15 minutes to 10 days out and locks them; Meta One Advanced schedules stories 30 days out. How many Sume clips to have ready for each.

TikTok lets you schedule a video from 15 minutes to 10 days ahead and then locks it, while Meta One's Advanced plan can schedule stories up to 30 days ahead. For a daily schedule that means 10 finished TikTok clips versus 30 story clips ready before you start, and at Sume Timeline's $0.10 per started minute that is $1.00 or $3.00 for clips of 60 seconds or less.
Both windows are from the vendors' own pages, TikTok's Video Scheduler post and Meta's Meta One announcement (read 2026-10-06).
What are the two windows?
The figures are laid out below.
| Platform | Window | Catch |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok Video Scheduler | 15 minutes to 10 days ahead | No editing of video, captions, or time after scheduling; desktop scheduling needs a Business Account |
| Meta One Advanced | Stories up to 30 days ahead | Plan starts at $49.99 a month; rolling out gradually |
Which clips must be final?
TikTok's no-edit rule means the file you schedule is the file that publishes. Render, caption, and check it before scheduling; to change it, delete the scheduled post and upload again. For stories on a 30-day window, plan more renders but expect to revise some.
A cheap pre-check for each Sume file is a probe-only video inspect with frames: false, which tells you the real length and whether it has audio.
What does a month of daily posts cost to render?
Rates are in the Timeline 1.0 docs; confirm them in GET /v1/catalog.
| Window | Clips | Rate | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| TikTok, 10 days | 10 | $0.10 per started minute | $1.00 |
| Meta One stories, 30 days | 30 | $0.10 per started minute | $3.00 |
| Both, 30 days of each | 60 | $0.10 per started minute | $6.00 |
