Virtual try-on Format for holiday party outfits in social commerce

Call Sume's virtual-try-on Format to show a person switching into a supplied party outfit, as a short vertical clip for a shop's feed.

What the Format is for

sume-virtual-try-on makes "a finished virtual try-on video that shows a person naturally wearing or switching into a supplied fashion item" for apparel try-on ads, outfit previews, styling transformations and social commerce fashion videos.

Party-outfit clips are mostly the switch: a person in a plain top changes into the supplied dress. Send one clear garment image and say which person and setting you want.

A call you can run

Send the creative direction in instruction and any product or person image in attachments (images only, up to 30, public HTTPS). The run is one unattended turn, so name everything it needs to choose. generation_spend_cap_usd bounds the generation spend, and a Format without its own cap inherits $400, with $500 the platform maximum.

curl -sS -X POST "https://api.sume.com/v1/formats/sume/sume-virtual-try-on/runs" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: tryon-party-1" \
  -d '{
    "instruction": "A person in a plain top switches into the supplied sequin dress with a quick spin, mirror selfie style. 9:16.",
    "attachments": [{ "type": "input_image", "image_url": "https://cdn.example.com/sequin-dress.png" }],
    "generation_spend_cap_usd": 40
  }'

Check the garment before you publish

Review each clip for print, hands and sleeves before it goes live, and rerun failures with previous_run_id. If the point is how a garment fits, use the fitting Format; the catalog describes it as focused on accurate garment fit, silhouette and movement.

After the run

A finished run gives primary_output_url and artifacts[]. Media is mirrored to durable media.sume.com URLs, and anyone who holds a URL can open it. Poll the run or pass communication.webhook_url to receive format.run.terminal. To change the result, start a new run with previous_run_id rather than a new brief from zero.
