Veo 3.1 10-second 720p clip: Lite, Fast, Standard vs Sume models
A 10-second 720p clip costs $0.50, $1.00 or $4.00 across Google's Veo 3.1 tiers. Here is the same 10 seconds on Sume's H3 Max, Wan 3.0 and Kling 3 rates.

Google lists three Veo 3.1 tiers on its Gemini API pricing page (read 2026-10-03). At 720p: Lite is $0.05 per second, Fast is $0.10, and Standard is $0.40. A 10-second clip is therefore $0.50, $1.00 and $4.00. The spread between the cheapest and most expensive tier is eightfold, so the tier you pick matters far more than any margin.
The same 10 seconds on Sume
Sume does not carry Veo. Its closest per-second rates, all provider list times 1.25 as documented in the Video API docs, are below. Kling 3 Pro has a separate price for audio on and off, and audio is on by default, so the cost of a silent clip is the lower figure.
| Option | Per second | 10-second clip |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 Lite 720p (Google) | $0.05 | $0.50 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast 720p (Google) | $0.10 | $1.00 |
| Veo 3.1 Standard 720p (Google) | $0.40 | $4.00 |
| MiniMax H3 Max 768p (Sume) | $0.10 | $1.00 |
| Wan 3.0 720p (Sume) | $0.125 | $1.25 |
| Kling 3 Pro, audio off (Sume) | $0.14 | $1.40 |
| Kling 3 Pro, audio on (Sume) | $0.21 | $2.10 |
What lines up and what does not
Veo 3.1 Fast at 720p and H3 Max at 768p on Sume are both $0.10 per second, so a 10-second clip is $1.00 on either. That is the cleanest like-for-like row. Veo 3.1 Standard at $4.00 is the only option above Sume's most expensive 10-second row here ($2.10 for Kling 3 Pro with audio).
These are prices, not quality. Different models follow prompts differently, and a model that needs two takes costs double. Count retakes in your budget: a $1.00 clip you regenerate twice is $3.00.
Budget a batch
For 50 clips of 10 seconds, the table scales to $25 (Veo Lite), $50 (Veo Fast and H3 Max 768p), $62.50 (Wan 3.0 720p), $70 to $105 (Kling 3 Pro) and $200 (Veo Standard). Run a handful at each tier first; the difference in what you ship usually decides it before the price does.
