Timeline price for a 90 s edit of three 30 s shots: $0.20
A 90-second Timeline render bills 2 minutes, $0.20, because output minutes round up. Add the shots: $11.45 on Wan 3.0 or $52.22 on Seedance 2.5 at 720p.

A 90-second Timeline render costs $0.20, because Sume bills $0.10 per output minute rounded up and 90 s is two minutes (as of 2026-10-08). Three 30 s shots at 720p make the full edit $11.45 on Wan 3.0 or $52.22 on Seedance 2.5.
The bill
Wan 3.0 720p 30 s is 375 cents, three shots 1125 cents. Seedance 2.5 720p 30 s is 1734 cents, three shots 5202 cents. Add 20 cents for the render.
| Item | Wan 3.0 | Seedance 2.5 |
|---|---|---|
| 3 generations | $11.25 | $52.02 |
| Timeline, ceil(90/60) = 2 min | $0.20 | $0.20 |
| Total | $11.45 | $52.22 |
The rounding rule
The reserve is ceil(audio.duration_seconds / 60) minutes and the public rate is $0.10 per ceil(output minute). A 61 s output costs the same $0.20 as 120 s. If you control the length, trimming to 60 s drops the render to $0.10, but the saving is ten cents; do not cut story for it.
Timeline takes one audio spine of 1 to 1800 s and 1 to 200 video slots. The plan endpoint returns billable_minutes and estimated_cost_usd_micros without creating a job.
Placing the shots
Start the first slot at 0 and set starts that increase: 0, 30, 60 for three 30 s slots, with audio.duration_seconds at 90. Declared starts are authoritative, and the compiler compensates for any crossfade. Transitions go only on slots after the first, up to 1 s, so a 0.25 s fade on slots two and three is allowed.
Each source must be a media.sume.com file in your workspace, so import the generated clips before you build the program.
At 480p and 1080p
The same 90 s edit at 480p costs $5.64 + $0.20 = $5.84 on Wan 3.0 and $24.21 + $0.20 = $24.41 on Seedance 2.5. At 1080p it is $22.50 + $0.20 = $22.70 on Wan and $127.95 + $0.20 = $128.15 on Seedance 2.5.
The render is between 0.2% (Seedance 2.5 at 1080p) and 3.4% (Wan 3.0 at 480p) of the total in these six plans.
Check the number yourself
To confirm the figure behind this post, read the wan-3.0 entry from GET /v1/video-router/models and check that 30 s and 720p are inside its duration_seconds and resolutions. The grid price for that cell is 375 cents ($3.75). It is the provider list price times 1.25, rounded up to the next cent for the job, as of 2026-10-08.
Use an Idempotency-Key on every create call so a retry cannot start a second paid job, then poll the job until it is complete and download the file from the result. Media inputs for Timeline or for references must be hosted files, so import them first.
None of the prices here say anything about picture quality, motion or how well a model follows a prompt. Prices can change when a provider changes its list, which is why every table carries a date. Re-read the catalog before you commit a large batch, and run one test job at the exact setting you plan to use.
