TikTok Reservation ad video specs: 9:16, 5 to 60 s, 2,500 kbps
TikTok's reach and frequency page lists 9:16 at 540x960 or larger, 5–60 s (9–15 s recommended) and a 2,500 kbps floor. Compared with the travel-ads page.

TikTok's Reservation (reach and frequency) in-feed page asks for 9:16 video at 540x960 or larger, .mp4, .mov, .mpeg or .3gp, 5 to 60 seconds (9 to 15 recommended), up to 500 MB, and a bitrate of at least 2,500 kbps. That bitrate floor is much higher than the 516 kbps on the auction page. Read 2026-09-29.
How do Reservation and travel specs differ?
Both pages list 9:16 at 540x960 or larger, 5 to 60 seconds and 500 MB. They differ on the recommended length and bitrate.

What do I ask Sume for?
A 12-second vertical clip is one request on most models: seedance-2.5 lists 4–30 s, kling-3 lists 4–15 s. Use resolution 720p or 1080p.
Reservation pages also say no watermarks, and to avoid transparent or white backgrounds. Put that in the prompt (plain dark studio background) since Sume has no control for it.
curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/videos \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: reservation-001" \
-d '{
"model": "kling-3",
"prompt": "A barista pours latte art, close-up, slow push-in",
"duration": 12,
"resolution": "1080p",
"aspect_ratio": "9:16"
}'Can I check the bitrate?
POST /v1/video-inspect probes a video and returns its properties; use it to compare the output with the 2,500 kbps floor. Sume lists no bitrate setting for generation or Timeline, so if a file falls short, Sume gives you no rate setting to fix it.
What are the limits of this answer?
Reservation buying itself is TikTok's process. Sume does not book or submit ads.
