TikTok Global App Bundle image ad sizes: 9:16, 16:9, 1:1
TikTok's Global App Bundle image ads need 9:16 at 720x1280 or more, 16:9 at 1280x720 or more, or 1:1 at 640x640 or more, as JPG or PNG within 100 MB.

TikTok's Global App Bundle image ads take three shapes: 9:16 at 720x1280 or larger (recommended), 16:9 at 1280x720 or larger, and 1:1 at 640x640 or larger. Files are JPG, JPEG or PNG within 100 MB. Ask Sume for a matching aspect_ratio, and avoid webp as the output_format.
Numbers are from TikTok's help page (last updated September 2026) and Sume's image and images docs, read 2026-10-01. For the video version of this bundle, see TikTok App Bundle video ad specs.
What sizes does the page list?
The page lists these under a heading that says video resolution, but it sits in the image ad article. It also lists the placements (App Open, In-Feed, 2-Column Feed, Banner, Interstitial and Native, across CapCut and Fizzo) and says to look at other articles for other TikTok ad formats.
| Shape | Minimum on the page | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Vertical, 9:16 | 720 x 1280 px | Marked recommended |
| Horizontal, 16:9 | 1280 x 720 px | Listed as minimum |
| Square, 1:1 | 640 x 640 px | Listed as minimum |
| File type | JPG, JPEG, PNG | Size within 100 MB |
How do I ask Sume for these shapes?
Sume's aspect_ratio list for stills includes 9:16, 16:9 and 1:1. A model only accepts the values its catalog lists, so read supported_parameters before pinning one. Pick png or jpeg for output_format; the field also allows webp, which is not on TikTok's list.
Can I set exact pixels?
Only on models that take custom pixels, such as the GPT family: both edges must be multiples of 16 and the total pixel count must be 655,360 to 8,294,400. That fits 720x1280 (921,600) and 1280x720. It does not fit 640x640 (409,600), so a custom-pixel square needs a larger edge, for example 1024x1024 (1,048,576). Since TikTok's numbers are minimums, a larger square is fine on the page's terms.
{
"prompt": "App icon on a clean gradient, centered",
"image_size": "720x1280",
"output_format": "png"
}What does the docs not promise?
Sume's docs list custom pixels only for some model families; on others, the size follows the native aspect_ratio. So read the delivered width and height against the minimums, and the file size against 100 MB, before you upload to TikTok.

- Use audio from a TikTok or Instagram link in your video
Sume imports a public TikTok or Instagram URL, detaches its audio as wav or mp3, then lays it under a Timeline render. YouTube links are rejected.

A sponsored AI video on YouTube needs the paid promotion button in video details. Sume does not set it; you set it in YouTube Studio when you upload the file.

YouTube's conversational editing trims pauses and reorders for pacing. By API: inspect the clip for free, trim ranges, then reorder slots in a Timeline spec.
