TikTok 9:16 ad from Omni Flash: 5 to 10 second clips priced
TikTok recommends 9:16 for non-Spark video ads. Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 makes 9:16 clips of 3 to 10 s on Sume: $0.63 at 5 s and 720p, $1.25 at 10 s.

TikTok's ad specification page recommends 9:16 for non-Spark video ads, and Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 on Sume makes 9:16 clips of 3 to 10 seconds. At 720p a 5-second clip is 63 cents and a 10-second clip is $1.25. Check the pixel size of the file you download against the platform minimum before you upload.
What TikTok lists
The following comes from TikTok's page, read on 2026-10-08, for non-Spark ads.
- 9:16 is recommended, with a minimum of 540x960; 16:9 has a minimum of 960x540 and 1:1 a minimum of 640x640.
- Formats include mp4, mov, mpeg, 3gp and avi, up to 10 minutes and 500 MB, with a bitrate of at least 516 kbps.
- Spark Ads take mp4 or mov with no duration limit.
Omni 9:16 prices
Sume does not state the output pixel dimensions per tier in the docs pages cited here, so measure the downloaded file (for example with the Video inspect tool) and compare it with 540x960 before you rely on a tier. The prices are rates times seconds, rounded up per clip.
Sume rounds each clip up to the next whole cent, so a clip total is ceil(seconds x rate), not a sum of fractional cents.
| Length | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|
| 5 s | $0.63 | $0.94 |
| 6 s | $0.75 | $1.13 |
| 8 s | $1.00 | $1.50 |
| 10 s | $1.25 | $1.88 |
A small test
For a hook test with six variants of 6 s, 720p is 6 x 75 cents = $4.50; at 1080p it is 6 x 113 cents = $6.78. Since the ad spec cares about the file and not about how it was made, a 10 s clip fits well inside TikTok's duration and size limits.
Native audio is always on for Omni, so the clip arrives with sound. You can add captions or replace the track in a later step.
The same length at every tier
For reference, a 8-second Omni Flash clip at each resolution. Every price is the seconds times the billable rate, rounded up to a whole cent, as of 2026-10-08.
| Resolution | Arithmetic | Billed |
|---|---|---|
| 360p | 8 x 3.75 = 30 cents | $0.30 |
| 720p | 8 x 12.5 = 100 cents | $1.00 |
| 1080p | 8 x 18.75 = 150 cents | $1.50 |
| 4K | 8 x 37.5 = 300 cents | $3.00 |
Limits to remember
These apply to every request on this page, from the Video Router and Video generation docs:
- Length is 3 to 10 whole seconds in generation modes; an edit takes no duration.
- Aspect ratio is 16:9 or 9:16; an edit takes no aspect ratio.
- Native synced audio is always on, and
generate_audio: falseis rejected. - There is no
bitrate_mode, no reference audio and noseed. - Billing is the provider list times 1.25 per output second, reserved at submit and shown in
usage.cost.
